I purchased this generator throughout hurricane Irene to energy a refrigerator as well as a few other appliances inside the home. This generator was really easy to setup and there is certainly nothing `cheap' or flimsy about it, even the wheels look like they had been meant to last. For the same watts, it looks like this 1 weighs 20+ pounds more than a similarly sized `no name / home brand' generator. I'm not positive that necessarily makes it much better (or worse), but I like the reality that the engine is a brand serviceable by several nearby dealers. Yes, it truly is loud like the others have mentioned, but I do not know how it compares to other similarly sized generators. (Review More...)
